An invisible child
An out cast in a world
She thought had been her own
Family brutal with words and actions
Pushed aside since birth
Not being taught to live
Just hanging to survive
Walking through life
Misunderstanding what life is
Rape, molestation, abuse
Had become the child’s teacher
She also taught herself
To speak
So no one would go through
What she went through.
Her heart she wears on her sleeve
Though she walked through life
Through horrific situations
She learned to love
Love a powerful tool
A child showing you her life
